Robert Gee is a native of Philadelphia and has been singing professionally since a teen. Much of his early 
development and training came from musical theatre. A classically trained singer because of a vocal 
scholarship to Settlement Music School, Robert was afforded the opportunity to be in 3 major operas as a 
teen in the Opera Ebony opera company as well as several musical theatre productions like The Wiz, 
Pippin, Ain't Misbehavin, Jesus Christ Super Star, Dreamgirls, Sy Coleman’s The Life, Blues In The 
Night and many others! Robert was featured in a volume of "Who's Who Among American Students In 
Music" and won many talent competitions like the Omega Psi Phi 1st place vocal winner!
Living Legend Patti LaBelle is credited with discovering the teen back in Philly and just like that legendary 
voice, Robert Gee would also go on to become and Amateur Night Winner at the world famous Apollo 
Theater! When Gee lived in Los Angeles home and one of the first people to showcase his stellar talents
was the late great C. Bernard Jackson at the Inner City Cultural Center in a musical review called 
“METRORAIL” at the Ivar Theater. But it didn’t stop there, Robert is also a trained actor who has stared
in many critically acclaimed LA Theater productions and has a Best Supporting Actor nomination by the 
NAACP Image Awards for theater and many others! Robert made his NBC television debut in the roll of 
Bossman in "The Little Richard Story"!
As a background artist Robert is often featured and has worked with some of R&B's finest throughout his 
career such as the legendary Emotions, Vesta Williams, Teena Marie, Luther Vandross, Kashif, Tevin 
Campbell, Atlantic Starr, Daryl Coley, La Shun Pace, Bee Bee Winans and legendary London Soul
Group Loose Ends Feat. Jane Eugene whom he toured with extensively across the U.S. During the groups 
Fall mid Atlantic/East coast tour Robert served as the opening act at such renowned venues as B.B. Kings 
in Times Square, the Howard Theater Washington DC and the the City Winery in several major markets to 
sold out crowds! 
As a solo artist Robert Gee released his critically acclaimed debut CD titled "All My Love" in 2008! He 
executive produced, co-produced, wrote, co-wrote, performed and arranged all the vocals on the CD. In 
2010 the Black Music Association Of America awarded Gee with their "Best R&B Male Vocal 
Performance" award! Two songs from the disc, the title track "All My Love" and "Here We Go" were 
feature in the Indie film "Misunderstandings". In 2012 Gee's song "I don't Want To Lose Your Love" was 
nominated Best R&B/Soul Song by the Hollywood Music In Media Award. Gee was also nominated at 
Best Indie Artist by the Callywood Awards! In 2018 again the Black Music Association awarded Gee with 
the Best R&B Male Vocal Performance award!
After years of performing, dedication to his craft and the study of voice. Robert became a vocal coach to 
several developing artist and students of voice. Even a few of his celebrity colleagues like Kashif, the late 
Vesta Williams and Jane Eugene From Loose Ends just to name a few!
Robert was signed to Spectra Records 2014 and released one single, fan favorite "All This Love (Is For 
You) from his current release Robert Gee The EP is charting on both national and international charts! The 
current single "I've Given You My Best" landed at #10 on the UK Soul Chart and at #16 in the "Best Of 
UK 2016 - Franklin Sinclairs Top 40', #5 Indie Soul and #25 Smooth Jazz Network. 
Gee has been heard on BBC Radio and can still be heard on Sirius XM, iHeart Radio and all major digital 
platforms. 
Optimistic about his future and now living in London, Gee is releasing a hot new single on Expansion
Records that is reminiscent of 70’s classic Soul but has the freshness todays R&B!! 
Robert Gee is an ever emerging artist whose time has come!
